Hi, I am Rebekah Hutchinson
Photographer
I first fell in love with photography during a history GCSE class, and from that moment I have never looked back. What began as a way of documenting the world around me quickly grew into a passion for storytelling, using images to capture real moments, lived experiences, and the emotions behind them.
Since then, my camera has taken me across the world, allowing me to witness diverse cultures, environments, and human stories firsthand. Each journey has shaped not only my work, but also my understanding of the world and my place within it.
My experience
I hold a first-class degree in Photojournalism and Documentary Photography, where I refined my technical skills and developed a strong ethical and narrative-driven approach to visual storytelling.
My work has led me to collaborate with charities including Compassion, The Donkey Sanctuary, and Shelter, producing imagery that raises awareness, amplifies unheard voices, and supports meaningful social change. Through these experiences, I have learned the power of photography as a tool for connection, advocacy, and impact and this continues to drive my practice today.
My Approach
Alongside my documentary and photojournalistic work, I have extensive experience photographing weddings, families, couples, and businesses. I bring the same storytelling approach to these spaces, focusing on natural moments, genuine connection, and honest emotion. Whether documenting a wedding day, capturing the dynamics of a family, telling the story of a couple, or creating imagery for products and businesses, my aim is always to produce work that feels authentic, thoughtful, and visually compelling. I work closely with clients to understand their vision, ensuring the final images not only meet their needs but reflect who they truly are.
